Step 1.
Your experience starts with a free no obligation Consultation.
Either in person (if in Cheltenham) or via a phone call or a WhatsApp video call.
This is our opportunity to chat about what you are looking for, what to expect from the session, and a bit about your pet so that we can tailor the session to suit. We will also pencil in a date & time & decide on a location.

Step 2.
Next up is the Photoshoot!
I hope to keep the sessions relaxed, light-hearted & most of all stress-free & fun for your pet! We will aim to get a mix of posed, action & candid shots, but will be led by your pet. Their safety & well-being comes first.
I will be asking you to help engage your pet so please come prepared with (lots of!) treats and/or favourite toy. There is no time limit so pets will have plenty of time for play & sniffs, but generally the session tends to be around an hour & a half or two.
Step 3.
The Viewing & Product Selection!
After the photoshoot I will 'lightly edit' a selection of images which will be uploaded into an on-line gallery. These light edits will give you a good idea of what the final image will look like & I aim to have these ready within a week of the photoshoot. I will arrange with you to meet on 'Teams' to go through the light edits together.
I do understand that it may be difficult to decide on an image(s) there and then, so if you wish, I can give you access to this proofing gallery for a limited time period if you'd like to take a look at the images at your leisure. Once you have made your selection, I will then go ahead & fully edit your selected image(s).
In the meantime I will also arrange with you an in-person visit so you can take a look at the sample wall art & framed products. This will not only help you visualise what your image will look like on your wall, but will also give you a real feel for the product...really important before you make your decision!
Rest assured, I will work with you throughout the process to ensure the final product is one that you will cherish.
Here's an example of what a fully edited image would look like in comparison, although I've actually removed Kody's lead in this light edit, but normally it would remain in at that stage.
And to give you an idea of one of those 'tweaks', there was a tiny piece of grass on the bridge of Hector's nose in this image. Ordinarily I might have removed this in the editing process, but Hector's mum & I both thought it added to the cuteness factor so it was left in!

Step 4.
The moment you have been waiting for...Delivery!!!
So once I complete the full edit & get the 'OK' from you, I send the image(s) across to a professional print lab along with your choice of product & they take it from there!
The final product is then delivered to me & once I have done a final check I deliver it to you!

But hang on... I have a great phone camera so why do I need a pet photographer?

I get 'down & dirty' so you don't have to! Capturing images of our furry companions at their eye level can give us a whole new perspective, placing them centre stage and it's not something we often do or think about (or are dressed for!)
Messy backgrounds? Often we take photos only to have that unwanted person, dog, car etc... in the background ruining our lovely shot! It's not always possible to avoid this if you're at a busy location, but post processing & careful editing allows me to get rid of these distractions so I can present you with a beautiful capture of your pet!
It's a date! Ever been somewhere & thought 'ooh, I need to come back with Zippy for some photos'. I've done that plenty of times...and sadly we never get around to it. But a planned photoshoot will make that happen! We'll plan & capture those 'posed' shots but also have plenty of time for candid shots of your pets being their fun chaotic selves!
Beautifully created Art for your home! Yes, I have thousands of images of Zippy on my phone too! And they are great to have a quick scroll, but how many of those actually get printed and make it into a frame or displayed on the wall?!?

Here's why!
